About Alchemy for the body and
soul
|
Jackie Arbuckle is a Naturopath practicing at AllMed Consulting Clinic in Fitzroy North a suburb of Melbourne, and also in Benalla (2 hours north of Melbourne) at 36 Carrier st, Benalla. Jackie studied naturopathy at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, and has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Naturopathy), which is the highest qualification available in Naturopathy. She has always had an interest in complementary medicine, growing up in a home that used these methods as a first instance when someone was unwell. Prior to her naturopathy degree, back in 1996, Jackie studied a degree in Applied Science, specialising in Human Biology, and also has an Honours degree in Psychology. This has provided her with a sound scientific background, along with developing her questioning mind. Jackie has a keen interest in science and health, which has also been furthered through working as a research assistant at the Cancer Council of Victoria and the University of Melbourne for the past 11 years. |

| Jackie has a
particular talent for iridology, which is the analysis of a
person’s health via looking at patterns in their iris, as she
studied under one of Australia’s leading iridology teachers and
practitioners. She uses this tool extensively as part of the
naturopathic consultation. Jackie was part of the Expert Advisory Committee on Vitamin D levels in Victoria for the State Government 2009-2010 She is also a current member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) |
